I hope that parents find their kids to be special and I also hope that the kids reciprocate that feeling to their parents and siblings. That is love and prideand it is well placed in the realm of the family.
Being all "that special" is a curious goal or status and most days just feeling good about yourself and what you do means that it was a day well lived.
I like your list of attributes as I believe they can lead the serious practitioner to a satisfying life.
I do not believe that anyone can achieve anything they want. There are a lot of potholes along the road and many vehicles fall short of the destination for a number of reasons including those that are self-inflicted.
I do believe that, employing the attributes you have listed or others that could be added, people will find great things, maybe the things they thought they wanted or, more likely, things that are equally rewarding or satisfying that they never sought nor expected at the outset..
Let's not be too hard on Mr. McCullough or his message. It has sparked a lot of good thought and probably some needed reflection.

My dad took his shoes off when teaching me how to drive. When I asked him why, he said it was one less thing the medics would have to take off him. ;) I would drive the highways at night, learning the exits and where the road actually took me, which helped sharpen my navigational senses.

Could you be allowing your personality preferences to influence your content :-) LOL!

Bruce

P.S. I appreciate your fearlessness. Jacquie had to teach both of our daughters how to drive :-)

I love the beginning with the emblem that flashes like lightening. You are so so on your game!!!!

I think that I have found something that I could fly with like you are doing.

I am going to do my SMART. We will talk soon about your head shots. I know you are busy so remember that I can come to you for a nominal trip fee. :)

I completely agree with the 3rd point. As a veteran lucky enough to easily transition, I am very aware that the out processing objectives are very clear.

1. Stay in or at least go to a reserve or reserve counterpart

2. Do you have ant debt or medical issues to finish paperwork for

3. Clear supply and turn in all of your equipment.

There isn't much for finding employment. Our vets deserve better. Thanks for the article.

Nice point....way too many times we forget the individual customer but focus only on what has been drilled in to us "make the customer happy" and use this generically.
Saying sorry does not work either....act fast, fix the issue then an apology.
